# Keyboard Shortcuts

## Application Menu Navigation
The _Alt_ key can be used to navigate the application menu. Corresponding shortcut keys are indicated by the underlined character of each menu item.

To quit the application for example, first bring up the File menu by pressing __Alt+F__. With this menu open, you can simply press __Q__ to quit (as indicated by the underline below the Q in the menu entry for Quit). 

To toggle the Alignment window, bring up the Window menu by pressing __Alt+W__ and then press __A__.

This works for all items in the application menu.
