OSC

The OSC publisher sends published values as Open Sound Control messages over UDP. Each value is sent to an address matching its path in the workspace.

Since OSC has no array type, collections are expanded into multiple messages:

• Point clouds send their size to <address>/count, then one message per point to <address>/<index>.
• Bounding boxes are sent as one message of their minimum corner followed by their maximum corner.

Publisher Properties

• Host: the IP address of the receiving application.
• Port: the UDP port of the receiving application.
• Position Encoding: send positions as integer millimetres, or as floating point metres.
• Max Cloud Points: the maximum number of points sent for any single point cloud. Extra points are dropped.
