Pointcaster is a real-time engine for capturing, combining, analysing and broadcasting 3D scenes. By taking input from multiple live sources like Orbbec and Azure Kinect depth cameras, or from recorded point-cloud sequences, and analysing the 3D environment, it can be used to add room-scale interaction to immersive digital spaces.

Interaction data, like the presence or location of users in a space, can be published through many protocols such as OSC, MIDI or MQTT to drive game engines and digital audio workstations. Point-clouds of the combined and transformed 3D scene can be streamed into 3D tools for visualisation using the included native plugins for Unity, Unreal and TouchDesigner.
